Be part of a memorable journey, in a small group, through the unparalleled beauty of 3 Portuguese gems: Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. With a more personalized transport service and the expertise of a local guide, you will experience a unique day filled with history, culture, heritage, and landscapes.

The day will begin in the best way, at the Living Tours meeting point in Lisbon. From there, we will depart aboard a comfortable vehicle through the cobbled streets of the capital. From the windows, we will observe the city’s cosmopolitan atmosphere.

As we leave Lisbon, the journey becomes increasingly pleasant, traveling along wide roads surrounded by pine forests and lush green hills, feeling the fresh scent of pine in the air. It is within this spectacular setting that we arrive in Sintra.

We will begin our journey in Sintra by exploring the exterior and gardens of Pena Palace. Located at the top of the Sintra Mountains, this neo-Gothic palace seems straight out of a fairytale and is considered one of the most remarkable examples of 19th-century Romanticism.

Taking part in a guided visit of its exterior will be a unique way to travel back in time and admire its architectural beauty, with colorful towers, vibrant tones, rounded domes, and detailed balconies. It is also an opportunity to learn about its rich history and the dynasties that passed through this place over the years.

After exploring the palace exterior, our guide will lead us through the mystical Pena Gardens. Here, we will walk along peaceful trails, enjoying lush vegetation, serene lakes, and viewpoints offering spectacular panoramic views of the mountains, as well as attractions such as the Statue of King Ferdinand II and the Path of the Ramparts. This will be the moment to relax, connect deeply with nature, and absorb the magical atmosphere of this place.

Next, we will head to the Historic Center of Sintra. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this village has been a refuge for royalty, poets, and travelers from around the world for centuries. With its mystical and romantic atmosphere, it invites us to stroll through its picturesque streets, explore its cultural and historical richness, and discover local traditions and unique flavors while enjoying lunch at a typical restaurant.

Later, we will pass by Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe! If you are a nature lover, witnessing this place will be a truly spectacular experience. Here, you will find dramatic landscapes with imposing cliffs rising above the vast Atlantic Ocean. At its summit stands a historic lighthouse, in operation since 1722. A charming place that invites exploration in complete safety with our guide, or simply relaxation while enjoying the ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves.

After this immersive adventure, we will continue calmly to a local wine estate in Sintra. Upon arrival, we will be warmly welcomed with a guided tour of the facilities, including the winery.

During the visit, we will learn about the entire production process, from grape selection to aging, guided by experienced professionals who will share their knowledge and expertise. To conclude, we will enjoy a pleasant wine tasting, sampling three of the estate’s finest labels and experiencing the distinct notes of Sintra’s unique terroir.

The end of this experience will be marked by a peaceful return to the capital, passing through Cascais, a seaside resort near Lisbon. Take the opportunity to explore this wonderful place, wandering through its charming streets while enjoying the tranquil seaside atmosphere and the fresh Atlantic breeze.

Participating in this small group tour will be a unique opportunity to explore the romantic and wine heritage of Sintra, the wild atmosphere of Cabo da Roca, and the local charm of Cascais.
